Cottage guests have been coming to Rantala for more than 50 years. Currently, there are 9 different cabins for our guests’ enjoyment, all of which have their own personality and no similar cabin can be found. Among the cottagers, there are those who come to vacation in the same
“own” cottage year after year. On the other hand, some people always want to try a different cabin for a change. The atmosphere of the new villas is modern, some have centuries-old history in the form of ancient logs, while others are more traditional cottages, but equipped with amenities. The lonely have their own paradise island, where Takuu’s mind and body rest. So choose your favorite!<\/p>

All our cottages are located on the shore of the clean Iso Paljo lake, rich in fish and birds. (Lake length 2.2 km, width 800 m). The lake is surrounded by a peaceful rural landscape, with varied open fields and mixed wooded and rolling forest areas.<\/p>

Own yard, beach and rowing boat<\/h4>

All of our cottages are located beside a lake and have own private beach. Depending on the cottage, there is a 10-40m sandy beach with a dock and rowing boat. If needed we also borrow life jackets for both small and bigger guests. All cottages have their own yard, so you can enjoy sun and beautiful scenery, play games with family and dog or read a good book in the yard.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

The check-in\/check-out day during the high season is Friday and the minimum stay is one week. With a week-long stay, the cottage will be available to you from 16 o\u2019clock on the day of your arrival until 12 o\u2019clock (noon) on the day of your departure.<\/p>

Outside high season cottages are also available for shorter periods (minimum stay is 2 nights).nWith a weekend stay, the cottage will be available to you from Friday 16 o\u2019clock until 16 o\u2019clock (noon) on Sunday.<\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

The rental includes unrestricted use of the cottage and sauna. Cottages have normal furnishings as well as crockery, eating and cooking utensils. Wood, electricity, rowing boat, life jackets, pillows, blankets, mattresses, dishwashing liquid and toilet paper are also covered by the rental.<\/p>

The running hot and cold water mentioned in the cottage descriptions most often comes from a nearby well. All our cottages exept Manusaari has running hot\/cold water. In\u00a0Manunsaari<\/a>\u00a0you have to fetch water from the lake and also you either fetch drinking water from the owne by yourself or the owner brings drinking water to the cottage in canisters.<\/p>

All cottage (except Manunsaari) also have a TV. Please, remember however, that there are no cable TV networks in the Finnish countryside.<\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

Linen is not included in the price. You must bring sheets, duvet covers, pillowcases and towels. We want to take care of our environment in Rantala, and even small choices have an impact on the environment. We avoid unnecessary burden on nature: we sort and recycle wastes, we limit water consumption by cottages with electric drillers in the toilet and in the kitchen. Each cottage has sorting facilities and waste is collected centrally on a waste bin containing containers for landfill, glass, metal, batteries and bio waste. Almost all cottages have heating pump, a heat-storing fireplace, and a few cabins are heated by geothermal heat. There is also a small solar power plant installed for the farm, whereby electricity is provided ecologically. We keep lake Iso-Paljo clean, no motor vechiles are allowed. We also recommend to use products and services in the nearby area.<\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t
